These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the Queensland Masters Athletics Association ("QMA", "we", "our", "us") online uniform shop. By placing an order through our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About us
QMA is a non-profit sporting organisation based in Queensland, Australia. Our online shop provides official club uniforms and related apparel for members and supporters.
2. Ordering and lead times
All uniform items are produced to order. Because of manufacturing minimums and supplier scheduling, our standard lead time is up to 10 weeks from the date your order is confirmed.
Estimated timeframes are indicative. If your order is going to be significantly delayed beyond the estimate we gave you, we will contact you, and you may choose to wait or to cancel your order for a full refund.
3. Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or change an order, please contact the uniform coordinator immediately. Because items are made individually and production is scheduled in batches with our supplier, what is possible depends on the stage your order has reached. We will accommodate requests wherever we can.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider, through the checkout on our Wix website. Stripe supports major credit cards and other approved payment methods. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Orders are considered confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
5. Product information and sizing
We aim to ensure all product descriptions, sizing information, and images are accurate and up to date. Minor variations in colour, fit, or design may occur because of manufacturing processes or differences in screen display.
Uniform items are made to order in the size you select, so please check sizing carefully before ordering. If you are unsure, contact the uniform coordinator before placing your order.
6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply to every purchase made through our shop, including to items made to order. These consumer guarantees cannot be excluded by these Terms.
Goods must be:
- of acceptable quality
- fit for their intended purpose, including any purpose you told us about
- supplied as described, and matching any sample you were shown
- supplied within a reasonable time
If there is a major problem, you may choose a refund or a replacement. If the problem is minor, we may choose to repair the item, replace it, or refund you.
7. Returns, exchanges, and refunds
Because uniform items are made individually for each athlete, we cannot offer returns or exchanges for:
- change of mind
- selecting the wrong size when ordering
- a change in preference
This does not limit your rights above. We will promptly address any issue involving:
- manufacturing defects
- incorrect items supplied
- an item that does not match its description or the size ordered
- goods that otherwise fail to meet the consumer guarantees
To request assistance, please contact us as soon as you notice the problem and include details and photographs where relevant. Please keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.
8. Delivery and collection
We will notify you when your order is ready for delivery or collection. Delivery methods may include postage, courier, or collection at a club event, depending on what is offered at the time of purchase.
We remain responsible for your order until you receive it. If your order does not arrive, or arrives damaged, contact us and we will resolve it with the delivery provider on your behalf.
Please make sure the delivery address and contact details you give us are correct, as we cannot recover an item delivered to an incorrect address you have supplied.
9. Website use
By using our online shop, you agree not to engage in any activity that may:
- disrupt website functionality
- compromise security
- interfere with payment processing
- misrepresent your identity or contact details
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where fraudulent or suspicious activity is detected. Where we cancel an order, we will refund any payment made.
10. Privacy
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Details you provide at checkout are used only for order processing, communication, and delivery.
Payment information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by us. We do not hold your card details. Stripe handles your payment information in accordance with its own privacy terms and the applicable card industry security standards.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this website at the time of your purchase applies to your order.
