Masters Athletics events in Australia and world-wide are generally conducted according to the rules and regulations of World Athletics (formerly IAAF, the International Association of Athletics Federations).
However, naturally there must be accommodations made in Masters events with changes in competitors' ages, mainly around hurdles, steeplechase and throwing implement specifications. Details of these may be found on the Australian Masters Athletics (AMA) website.
For international competition and age grading, details should be taken from the World Masters Athletics website.
