Welcome to the 2023 Cross Country season.
Please find below dates and locations of the local Brisbane cross country events plus championship races.
Brisbane Series 1: Minippi Parklands Sat 6th May
Brisbane Series 2: Honeyeater Street Park Sat 20th May
Brisbane Series 3: CJ Greenfield Park Sat 27th May
Brisbane Series 4: Teralba Park Sat 3rd June
Brisbane Series 5: Anzac Park Sat 10th June
Brisbane Series 6: Capalaba State College Sat 24th June
Brisbane Series 7: Minippi Parklands Sat 8th July
Championship events: Short Course Victoria Park Sun 14th May
Long Course Toogoolawah Golf Course Sat 29th July
To register for these events go to the QA Competitions Website. Please note due to the cost of Championship registration, QMA does not add a championship fee to the QA entry fee but there are no QMA medals. QA awards medal in 10 year age groups.
AMA and QMA Marathon Championships July 2023
Both events to be held in conjunction with the Gold Coast Marathon 2nd July 2023
Note: Extra Championship fee for QMA Championship - $7.00

QMA TRACK and ROAD WALKS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Preliminary information - more to follow including start times and fees:
QMA HALF MARATHON CHALLENGE
Dates: Between 1st April and 31st October 2023
Location: Any certified half marathon across Australia
Run any half marathon (or more if you are keen) anywhere in Australia during the above period. The event must be held on a certified course, with electronic (chip) timing.
Entry is free.
You MUST register on-line if you wish to participate - Register Here
Then for every half marathon that you run, you MUST send your results to the coordinator.

Certificates will be issued to all participants at the end of the Challenge and some small trophies will be awarded.
AMA Postal Half Marathon Championships 2023
Dates: Between 1st April and 31st October 2023
This event is organised by MAWA – contact Jim Langford, (jimrun@iinet.net.au), or Richard Blurton, (r.blurton@iinet.net.au).
QMA 10 KM CHAMPIONSHIP
This will be held in conjunction with the Brisbane Road Runners Club Championship on Sunday 18th June.
