QMA Half Marathon Challenge 2026
After considering various options, it has been decided to continue with the 'Postal Half Marathon Challenge' again this year to allow athletes from anywhere across Queensland the opportunity to participate.
Run one, two (or more if you are keen) half marathons anywhere in Australia during the above period.
The event must be held on a certified course, with electronic (chip) timing.
Several highly coveted small trophies will be awarded at the end of the Challenge
This year there will be a small entry fee to cover the cost of trophies.

Marathon Championships
To be held in conjunction with the Gold Coast Marathon on Sunday 5th July 2026.(This is also the AMA Marathon Championships)
Entry fee $7 (paid with entry to event and QMA medals will be presented or posted later)
Long Course Cross Country (6km for M and W 70+, 8km for M and W 30 – 69)
To be held in conjunction with the QA Championships at Jimboomba Athletics Club on Saturday 11th July 2026. No extra entry fee and no QMA medals.

QMA Short Course Road Walks Championship
Sunday July 19th Logan River Parklands, Beenleigh
This event will be held in conjunction with QRWC Postal Challenge meet.
8.00am QMA Masters Men 10km
QMA Masters Men 5km (M60+ option)
QMA Masters Women 5km
QMA Registration - closes 16 July
